Accessibility Statement

EduConsult is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. Accessibility is part of how we build and review the site, not an add-on.

The standard we follow

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. This site has not yet been through an independent professional accessibility audit, so we do not claim full or certified compliance. We continue to test and improve.

What we have built in

  • Semantic headings, landmarks and lists, with a single main content region per page.
  • A "Skip to main content" link as the first item in the tab order.
  • Full keyboard operation of navigation, links, buttons, forms and the privacy banner.
  • Visible focus indicators and a logical focus order.
  • Dialogs that can be closed with Escape and return focus to the control that opened them.
  • Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Form labels that stay visible, clearly marked required fields, and error messages linked to their field.
  • Text that reflows and stays usable when zoomed or resized, with no information conveyed by colour alone.
  • Respect for the "reduce motion" setting in your operating system or browser.
  • No auto-playing audio or video, and no flashing content.

Known limitations

Our contact form opens your own email application to send your message, so its behaviour depends on that application. If this is a barrier for you, email us directly instead — we are happy to take enquiries that way.

Report an accessibility problem

If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, please tell us. Email nikki@edufluent.com with the page address and a short description of what happened. Please say if you would like a reply in a particular format.

We take accessibility feedback seriously, aim to respond within five business days, and use what you tell us to fix problems and improve the site. If you need information from any page in another format, we will provide it.
